I hope you enjoyed the walk too.
Your landscapes look much like ours except for the dunes.
ReplyDeleteEven your flowers are the same. In this post anyhow. Usually not!
We're supposed to warm up this week so it'll probably be time to say goodbye to the spring ephemeral flowers. But hello to the summer flowers!
We certainly have sand dunes. I think it has been a great spring except the last few nights we had freezing temperatures, not so good for some plants. I have noticed the forsythia and the shadbush has continued to bloom for a longer time this year. Maybe the cool temps kept them from progressing? It is hard to believe it is May 11th, you’re right though time to look for late spring / early summer plants.

Very nice!
ReplyDeleteBig Brother, Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYour photos made me think I did go on that walk with you. Easy to imagine the spots you showed. Amazing how a few miles north and the wildflowers are just starting. Thanks for posting! M :)

ReplyDeleteOf course you have been on this walk with us, just not this time. Even when you are not there I still hear your helpful sayings in my head, ha ha. It is a good trail, it is a loop, reasonable length, scenic, and just a bit up north!
🙂
