Thanks, Allen. I just took a chance to see if anything was blooming, it was 67 degrees and sunny still things are mostly brown or gray. As I walked I started to see more and more flowers. Then I’m thinking , I already have photos of these plants from years past why take more pictures? I guess because it is fun every Spring. Happy Spring to you!
I agree with Allen. Your photos are so good. You can see a bit of yellow pollen on the white petals! That Bloodroot leaf wrapped tight around the stem. The dark pink anthers on the Spring Beauty. Remember when I listed the wildflowers that had pink anthers? Purple Cress always looks like it got dressed in a hurry. I didn't take any pictures of the Hepatica blooming in my yard. I wonder how they're doing with the snow we have this morning? It's only 24 degrees out! M :)
I can't wait to see spring beauties and bloodroot! Thanks for the preview. You got some excellent shots of them. Bloodroot isn't easy!
