Hi Dave, that is sad about your flower place becoming a subdivision. Bass River Recreation Area is owned by the state and they have plans to do something to it, I’m not sure what. I filled out a survey about it. My suggestion was to leave it as is. At Bass it is still mostly undeveloped, it was a gravel pit site. There are bicycle trails, horse trails, and hiking trails. There are barricades to keep out off road vehicles which is a good thing. Hopefully it won’t change. At least in my wildflowering days.

Thanks for posting, I need to go out looking for some Nodding lady Tresses. Where I used to find them is now been leveled and is a subdivision.
