Catching up with the Trail Camera

This post is for my sweet sister, Sugar, who has been waiting patiently for something new on this blog.  The post is about my trail camera that I got 2 1/2 years ago for my birthday from my thoughtful husband, Mike.

Even after 2 1/2 years I get excited to see the pictures captured the previous day and night, I check it almost every day, and it has lived in the woods since I got it.  Occasionally I move it to different locations. Right now it is on a bit of a ridge in the woods near my house.  Looking the direction of the camera (north- northeast) there are rows of Red Pine, then a large meadow, then the Grand River.  This is all near Grand Haven, Michigan.

The camera records the moon phase, temperature, date, and time along the bottom of the photo.  Often in one day the camera will take 300 pictures.  I have it set so it takes 5 shots whenever it senses movement.  Most often photographed animal is the fox, I'm not sure how many different fox there are but some times it is easy to see the differences.
Here are photos taken from the last three months...

Notice the temperature on this one!  151 degrees F, this is when we had temperatures below zero.
Hope you enjoy these!
