What's on the trail? Trail Camera Mystery!

Something is flying past the Truth Cam at night and I can't figure out what it is, does anyone recognize it?
Photos from Ottawa County, Michigan.

Here are some more Trail Camera shots from August.

Skunk and raccoon together.

Skinny fox

Daytime shots are nice, especially with color.

Sometimes I get 250 photos from one night, sometimes 10.

I can't tell what the ufo is but it looks bigger than a bat. An owl or whipporwill maybe? The fox kept looking up so maybe he saw or heard it. It looks the the raccoon learned what a skunk was the hard way!

I think you are right, Marie. I just googled "bats in flight at night", I see some similarities with the UFO Truth Cam pictures.
Thanks.

It is hard to tell what it is since the Truth Cam pictures are rather grainy, but I googled "bats in flight" and I think it might be a bat. I was thinking maybe it was a Luna Moth...

I'm not sure what that fox was looking at. Sometimes there are whiskers right near the camera, maybe like a raccoon climbing down the tree that the camera is on. Seems like a lot of activity going on at night.
Thanks for your help.

Very interesting. I would guess that it is a bat, too.

Flying Squirrel! I never thought of that! Now we know the UFO is a Flying Squirrel, thanks.

It's nothing more than a moth. The infrared cameras have a slow shutter speed to allow as much light in as possible. Bugs flying rapidly by will appear drawn out. What you're seeing here is the body appearing drawn out, and the peaks are individual wing beats caught in succession.
