Spring 2015!

Spring will be arriving in just a few minutes here in Michigan.  To make the day special, we honored it by visiting several parks in Muskegon County.  And we found the first blooming wildflower of the year!

Look at that beauty, wide open and male all the way down to the base. Not going to be blooming much longer!

That's beauty for sure! It was a good day to walk in some creeks and find all the Skunk Cabbage.
Thanks for following my blog, I've been checking out some of the blogs you follow.

It was a fun day and not far from home. All those cocoons in one Spicebush. Bluebirds! Liverwort. Footbridges. Blue sky and sunshine. One of my best First Day of Spring celebrations. Thanks again. M :)
